Stay away from this place. Office Management has the audacity to lie to me about statements made. 
 Incompetence, Incompetence, Incompetence. Billing issues. Nonstop issues with the dentists, hygienists and office personnel making mistakes or rather not being able to accurately interpret my insurance.  After a round of cleanings for my children and I all of which I was assured was covered 100% and some fillings also said to have been covered, I received a $2000 bill. You see when you're there on the dentists chair they have all your insurance and records on a pc two feet away reading over your coverage with you. After review Gayle verified that we were in fact assured all along everything was covered and this was their mistake. She was kind enough to come to an agreement since we only did certain procedures on their recommendation and assurance that it was covered.  We settled on $800 for the fillings. All sounds good right? Until we came back for our 6 month cleanings this time armed with an understanding of what was going to be covered.... We opted to keep it simple. Only what was guaranteed covered and nothing billable to me. A month later...  I received another $595 bill.... Why this time? They say I'm out of network, which was the first time in 12 months anyone ever said so, and probably why were billed for the $2000 the last time.  Obviously there was quite a bit of dialog back and forth between us before we settled on the $800 from the previous visits. You'd think being out of network would have come up at some point... Why can't they tell in 12 months, and several appointments for a family of six, whether I'm out of network or not?  When the team is reading your insurance to you live in the room... Unless you have all the time in the world to keep track of their billing and mistakes go somewhere else.  It's unbelievable how incompetent their billing is.  Now that they know obviously we can't stay customers being out of network they are unwilling to work with us. Why should they? I'm leaving so screw my credit... Unbelievable.  Gayle apparently isn't there any longer which is apparent the moment you call. The demeanor is completely different.

Update : they send me letter making false claims about previous conversations they weren't a part of and patronizing me.  Do not go to this dentists office.  Like many doctors and dentists, the doctor and dentist are great but the office staff is atrocious at their jobs or record keeping and billing. Stay away.

I transfered my records to this practice as it was recommended to me by a friend. I had recently had a comp exam at my dentist but wanted to be closer to home.  I was informed by the dentist after giving my insurance details that they had checked everything and it was taken care of. It would be no charge. The dentist office encouraged me to come in for a comp exam so they could meet me.

When I left, they asked about insurance again. I informed them that I had been told by Gail the insurance lady that there would be no charge.  Yesterday I received a bill for my appointment.

I called them and told them what I had been told. Why would I hurry in to have another comp exam when I had just had one and pay for another?

They called today and told me the practice administrator Ms Mason had decided that it was all a mistake. That, yes, I had been told that but it wasn't their fault because they had "never come across this before. Oops. Yes you might have been told that but now you have to pay for our mistake." Really?

When I called back to ask the names of the practice owners, I was told by Janice "we can take a message.....We can direct you to our website." I asked them questions that should have been public knowledge stating again "who owns your practice and who can I send a letter to?" She refused to tell me and offered to take a message.

I have never come across such bad customer service. I cannot believe a practice would admit a mistake and then make me pay a bill for something they said would be complimentary.

I would not recommend Family Dental Care of Milford. It seems they care more about their pockets than long lasting customer service.

Dr. O and his staff are exceptional. They are caring and thoughtful and look out for their patients. They are constantly making sure you are comfortable and not in pain, They have made me comfortable with going to the dentist again!

I had two fillings done and Id o not do well with drills. Dr. O was so caring and amazing. I appreciated the extra time he took to make me feel okay. I am smiling today pain free.

Family Dental Care makes going to the dentist such an enjoyable experience! The staff is super friendly and professional, making you feel completely comfortable and at ease.
