I was at the Family Dollar store in Glendale Heights and had the most pleasant experience. I needed to find some medical supplies for my sick/hurt 4 year old daughter and Laura the manager took the time to show me where the things I needed were at. She was very helpful and nice, also understanding to the issue of my daughter being sick/hurt. I have been to this store several times in the past and have never had a problem or issue with any of the employees. Thank you for helping me out and my daughter is finally feeling better.

Friendly and pleasant staff. I was greeted when I walk in by a employee named Laura. She was cheerful and smiling. I was surprised by how organized, clean and stocked the store was. I've been in other dollar stores that are unorganized, messy and hard to find the things I need. Not at this Family Dollar store. Everything was where it should be and many of the items I needed were on sale. Family Dollar is a A-1 store!!!! Thanks!!

Helpful and courteous staff. They answered my questions and showed me where the items I needed to get were at. Polite, respectful, and service with a smile. Store was clean and in order. I shop there all the time and this is a great store.

Very very rude people who work there. Yell at you just rude if people who work there dont like working there and not happy go look for different job. Horrible customer service! !! Laura yells at customers very rude!!!

This is by far the rudest Family Dollar I have ever be in. First, the black cashier(girl) is disrespectful and has a bad attitude! The manager is just as disrespectful! The black cashier was asking my son to stay close to his mother- which I was about 2 steps away from him! Second children (mine at least) have money to spend! How do you know if this 13 year old is not about to make a purchase! After I inform her I'm right here- she stares at me with stupid grin! Which pist me OFF! I began explaining to me son (since she was playing with honey buns making the price.. wasn't ready to say step up or are you ready for checkout) some stores kids come in and grab things and break them! We were the only one in the store maybe 1 other customer. She give me a total and then I asked," where was this policy about children being with their parents" it's store policy she replied with an attitude! Going to my car I was upset walked back inside and asked for corporate number! Meet the rudest manager! We don't have the number have to call 411- this store is a joke! I exchange not so friendly words with both of them and walked out!!! PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS STORE! THE review are RIGHT! These women need to be FIRED! I can't wait to speak with district manager. They definitely meet the right one today.
