For those who may have their kids taken temporary or permanent, there are some things to know that will allow you to still see your kids  any time you want.  This is how screwed up the CPS system is.   And I see this personally myself.   Example the Grand Prairie office on 161 and Jefferson, told the mother,  fail another drug test and the kids will be taken to foster care.   The mother of my brothers kids has a drug issue, SO the case workers at that CPS  leave the kids in custody with the mom and grandma …get this ..where the Mother goes any time she wants, has done it since day one!!  And the state pays them for all the kids to basically stay right where they were!!!    SO if your kids ever get taken by CPS while they investigate, while you take classes , or give you time to get clean,  LET your  parents take custody and you still see your kids any time.!!!    And basically ignore the 1 or 2 hr a day limit they give you and make it any time YOU want.   You can also throw a fit right before a meeting is scheduled to begin… get this.. and make up a story about “your attorney” said this…  EVEN if you don’t have one,  and you can  have a meeting  cancelled.    They DON’T check anything!!!!!
