So disappointed was really looking forward to eat at famous Dave's. First no host waited for over 5 minutes no host. So we sat down at a table, after another 15 minutes a waiter came but left when we didn't have menus and gave a rude comment to us.  We thought he would bring us menus but he just disappeared. So after another 6 - 7 minutes we left. Tried to speak to manager but he was very unpleasant, probably the brother of the rude waiter. Have been to many other famous Dave's and always had a great experience this was a shock. Place was almost empty.

I'm sure that there are some purists who would claim that the only place to get decent barbecue is in the South. Since I'm not from the South, I can't compare the barbecue at Famous Dave's with Southern barbecue. It really doesn't matter to me where I'm eating as long as I enjoy the food, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food here. My wife and I ordered the Feast for Two, not really realizing how much food is included in that menu choice. The feast consists of corn on the cob, ribs, cornbread, coleslaw, pork, beans, chicken, and those big fries. Both of us found all of the items to be very tasty. Some places can't seem to barbecue chicken correctly, but the chicken here was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The ribs and pork were equally tasty and cooked to perfection. The coleslaw was a little too sweet for my taste, but still very good. We ended up taking quite a bit of the food home for a second meal because there was so much of it. To sum up our visit, the service was great, the place was clean, the food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. Based on those factors, I see no reason to have to go South to get "authentic" barbecue.

We actually really enjoy this restaurant and location but after today will not go back for a while. Service was atrocious and spoiled the experience immensely. We waited 30 minutes for a server to actually say hi and take our drink order. Food didn't arrive until hour one which is normally the time it takes to order, eat, and pay. We weren't alone in our experience. The entire room had an air of annoyance and frustration from patrons. I'm not sure if the issue was lack of staff or change in management. No one apologized or offered a drink or dessert on the house, which I felt was appropriate. It's too bad because we really enjoyed taking our kids here because we know they love the food and so do we, but it gets tough entertaining hungry kids after work with no support from restaurant staff.

I've never left anyone a review ever before. I moved here from Louisiana two years ago and this place has the BEST BBQ I have ever had since I moved here. I went last week for the first time and I have already been back two more times! 

I've had different things to eat and different appetizers each time I've gone and EVERYTHING I have eaten from this restaurant has been AMAZING! 

VERY generous portions, decently priced, and the food is amazing and easy to share with more than one person. The appetizers are huge too! 

I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will 100% be going back soon.

Ordered for take out. I got the Memphis style half rack of ribs and the dry rub was bursting with flavor. Loved it. 

Would give 5 stars for that alone, but giving 4 due to the poor system they have in place for phone orders. I asked for sauce on the side when I ordered, and it was missed due to the order request font being too small for the host to read...
