I’ve been coming to Bethel pizza for basically my entire life. I really loved their old pizza from next door but I gotta say that the Sicilian pizza is really good!! Basically like having the “old” style pizza. I’ll probably stick to getting this type of pizza from famous from now on. I really like the vibe of this place and being able to sit and watch the outside is really cool especially when the window wall is open! Allows for a nice breeze. 4.5/ 5 stars just because I do miss the old pizza but I understand why it’s different , the only other thing I can say that could improve is that the bottom of the crust was a little crunchy for my liking, but that may just be because I got a single piece instead of a whole pie. Try this place out if you’ve never had it before!!!

I have been searching for good pizza ever since I moved to east Danbury.  Today I found it.  What can I say? It is called Famous Pizza for a reason. It's just great food.  Let's celebrate its 40 years in business! You need good luck to park in front, but Bethel Library's parking lot is a 3 min. walk.  Or feel free to tell us more place to park.

Our family loves.Famous Pizza. I certainly missed it when I lived in North Carolina; each time we came back to CT, we made sure to stop by for a pizza! Now that we've moved back to CT, we have Famous Pizza at least once or twice a month. In fact, whenever when we ask our Grandson where he would like us to take him out for dinner, his response is always the same - Famous Pizza!!!  Vegetarian options: We love the great variety of toppings! The pizza is always delicious, and the toppings are an added treat!  Kid-friendliness: Famous Pizza provides a kid friendly/family friendly atmosphere!  Dietary restrictions: Famous Pizza makes a dairy free, gluten free pizza for my husband each time we order from there! We are appreciative of their willingness to make these accommodations, and my husband enjoys his special pizza!

Have been eating Famous pizza for a very long time before the expansion and they always were great when i was young and would come in to eat with my group of friends.  I have been ordering take out lately and its always crisp and hot, delivery is always on point, they follow instructions and keep it professional, with many other pizza places in the area , this is one that should not be skipped. Thank you for the great service always!

Unfortunately the crust have changed and I didn’t like it. I’m sorry. I love your pizza  place and have been going in the past for years! I loved the old pizza. Never change a good thing!!! I will return and try the Sicilian pizza And I will try to turn this review around!

Ahhh Famous...the beloved local piehole that spins out their own classic take on Greek-style pizza. They use a shallower dish than some other establishments and it's gives their pies a unique feel. They dough is proofed and I assume they butter/grease the pans because the edges get this perfect crispness...the low pan allows for some of the cheese crisp and adhere to the edge of the crust makin for an epic bite I like to save for last...the sauce has a bit of extra sweetnessa greek thing which i and the cheese is rich leaving small pockets of greasey love spattered about. Fab' s Hint: unbeknownst to some other local spots these guys havin been pushin pies with that epic cup-n-char roni since the 80's so a half n half is a slam dunk. My only knock is the flop which with Greek pies is par for the course but besides that it's def one of the best versions around

Delicious pizza. Had a slice of regular and a slice of Sicilian. Both excellent.

Their pizza is pretty amazing here and the service is one of a kind. I strongly recommend trying them out when you can.
