I always like the barbers, they're all nice and sociable. But... Last time I was here I was asked if I wanted something to help with winter dryness when I was getting my hair washed and I assumed it was different shampoo that helped with that. Especially since that not uncommon to get suggestions for different shampoos during the wash. Nope. Ended up doubling my final bill. No one told me. I think that's bad business. Just a simple, "This is in addition to the wash & haircut" would have helped me understand I was being charged for it. Final bill was nearly $50 for a buzz cut. Kinda sucky to do to a recurring customer.

Hmm where should I start.  Love that the (large, dark haired, tattooed) lady who cut my hair reeked of cigarette smoke.  She obviously did not attempt to wash the smell off her hands.  Then she proceeded to blow dry my  hair combing through it with her cigarette fingers.  Gee, thanks, why did I pay $18.99 for you to dry my hair with your fingers that stink only to have to re-wash it when I got home.  Also, said I wanted it shoulder length.  So much for that, it's a good 1 1/2" above my shoulder and doesn't all go in a pony tail. Oh and I really liked getting home to find 3 separate areas that were longer than the rest of my hair.  What's the point in getting it "professionally" cut when I have to do touch-ups when I get home? That should've been a $5 haircut.

I only went here for trims. I've had a number of great stylists but the last stylist I had ruined my hair and I will never go back to any Fantastic Sams. She layered half of my head to high hell and I lost about two years of growth within two minutes. I was so shocked I tried to communicate my concerns with the stylist but she reassured that "she didn't see what I saw". I was a victim of someone over confident with scissors. My hair was so bad I had go to Aveda so they could try to salvage my length. Even after that, I will have to wear my hair half up for the next 9 months, at least, and wait for half of my head to grow.. Also, the manager did nothing for me besides have me come into that horrid salon to tell me that my hair was butchered by Aveda, not their Stylist... And they would do nothing to compensate me.

As you can tell this was a very upsetting experience and I will never go back to Fantastic Sam's. If you choose to go, good luck playing with fire! Hope you don't get burned like I did this time.

Not happy with my haircut.  I wanted more volume in back and she seemed to cut all volume off.  I wanted back cut short and tapered at a v.  All back was cut short and straight across, no v cut to see.  But she was able to give me the Chem treatment to make money, which I did not want.  I'm pretty upset.
