Prepare for surprise charges at the salon. I used to take advantage of a Monday-Wednesday service bundle deal (because their salon is practically empty), but it has almost doubled in price over the last three years because of how little they now include in the package. If I'm going to pay that much, I'll go to a relaxing salon where stylists don't have to answer the phone to make reservations in the middle of my shampoo.

I go to this store at least once a week and I like the staff they always are willing to help me and they're really nice to talk too. I like Ulta better than sephora, you get so many rewards and benefits

Nicole went above and beyond to add the triple points from my Platinum Perks to my account. And the guy who does makeup in the prestige products is phenomenal with recommendations and a great resource for questions. Great staff here! Love the atmosphere and perks program!

I was happy to read I wasn't alone in my treatment at this store. It was terrible. It is a good store to go to if you enjoy being ignored-and don't ever need any help. I stood waiting to make my purchase for five minutes while the clerk put away nail polish behind the counter! I had a really hard time finding the conditioner I needed-finally pulled it up on my phone and starting pacing to find it! I won't be back-the one at Ridgedale I have not ever had issues with.

I was at Ulta Beauty this afternoon getting new foundation and brushes. I told the lady I have tried a few different brands of make up. She recommended the Smashbox photo finish (I've used the powder before) The lady applying the new make up didn't cleanse my face before applying the make up.(I had a little bit of make up on) She continued to try a few different colors on my face to find a better match. She didn't blend it, or put bronzer or powder on to get a "final look". Instead, she forgot what color she even used when I told her I would take it. She was not into her job at all. Terrible customer service. I walked out with 4 colors of make up on my skin that the lady didn't even bother to blend. I spent $125 that day...and might end up taking it back. The girls need to be taught respect & work ethic.
