Wonderful place to have in such a small town! I've lived here most of my life and I've always had to travel to Ankeny for groceries because grocery stores never last here, but its no surprise fareway would make it here. They also don't jack up their prices, even tho they are the only grocery store in the area! Love this place! I did dock 1 star because in the mornings, you to have to deal with a couple of extremely rude blonde women who are the cashiers. They barely say a word and don't acknowledge you whatsoever when you tell them to have a wonderful day or when you say thank you. But, fareway is still outshines their rudeness. I can handle a couple crabby people if it means not driving 10 miles for groceries!

Love the Fareway stores since I live in Minnesota, occasionally drive 40 miles to the store in Fairbault.
