Farm-Way is amazing! They have a ton of pet supplies, shoes/boots, clothing, hunting and camping gear, home items, and probably more I haven't seen yet. You can easily spend a few hours here. Helpful and knowledgeable customer service too.

I’ve loved this store since I was a kid! Even though I’m no longer a local, every trip to Vermont involves a trek to Farm-Way. Best boot selection I’ve seen anywhere, and they have literally anything you’d need for any outdoor activities... plus a whole lot of other stuff. Smartwool, Sorel, Barbour, on and on and on. (This place is ENORMOUS.) Staff is wonderful, prices are competitive, and it’s a Vermont store that isn’t a big chain. Go! You won’t regret it. (And make sure you buy a couple of Red Kite caramels at the register on your way out, they’re amazing.)

Great store, plenty of merchandise. Horrible customer service. I purchased a quite expensive pair of shoes here and they began to fall apart within 6 months of use (sloes detaching and stitching coming out). The refused to stand behind their product after convincing me what a great shoe it was. Susan in the shoe department was very rude.

This is a large yet paradoxical store, well stocked with an excellent selection of quality clothes and other merchandise including outdoor items, pet supplies, yard furniture, jewelry, etc. The paradox is that most of their items are priced at high end retail, despite its location in the middle of a not-so-prosperous area of the Upper Valley. Exceptions to their dismaying pricing include sale items, plus they do have a very good annual sale event. Located on a scenic location just off US 5, less than 5 minutes off I-91. Excellent stop for tourists though it's definitely not a "tourist trap".
