At the Mary Ann O'Brien Agency we take pride in our timely and extremely helpful customer service we provide for all of our insured.  We, (as all insurance companies should) go above and beyond to be sure all our insureds questions are thoroughly answered.  I have had some customers offered a lower rate but chose to stay with us for the remarkable customer service and convinence of how easy it is to reach Mary Ann O'Brien or myself for any questions or concerns one may have.  Mary Ann makes sure EVERY customer is contacted and their needs are addressed regardless of what time that keeps her until at night.  Customers email her at 12am and there is Mary Ann right there chatting away.  I could not be more proud to be a part of this agency where customer service and forming trusting  relationships with our customers is Mary Ann O'Briens top priority.   As your agent we will go above and beyond and also will have small requests such as signing an application of insurance or doing a photo inspection, or if you wish to cancel a signed request. All of these things are requirements of the company and the agency can not override or process a request or cancel a policy without a signed request.  One who would call another going above and beyond for you "incompetent" should question their own behavior and respect towards others and fulfill necessary documents needed before bashing a thriving hard working company for their own neglect on the issue.  Almost 3 years with the Farmers/Mary Ann O'Brien agency and we appreciate our wonderful customers and all of your referrals!  This agency is outstanding!! 5 stars isn't enough!!!

I'm a  58 year old business man and I have had my share of insurance companies taking advantage of me having teenage drivers on my plan. At the time prior to me flipping over to Farmers, I was on my wife's insurance policy.  I thought that would be the cheapest, because it is through MetLife via NYS Teacher's Union. After I met Ms. O'Brien, she quoted me for an entire package, Auto, Home, etc. a difference of $3,400 to my favor. I switched immediately and Met Life came back and said they would match that quote. I canceled Met Life on the spot (over 20 years) and my insurance premiums have been going down every year since. I have been with Mary Ann O'Brien and staff for over 5 years. Ms. O'Brien and staff are the utmost professional and they have a good following. I recommend everyone I know to her and  she has been converting them over one by one. Please do yourself a favor and at least check your own policy and see how they have been increasing your premiums, even if you have been loyal. Famers Insurance and Mary Ann O'Brien are honest the first time and they stay honest over the long haul. I have the premiums to quantify this statement. As a teen I acquired one of the worst driving abstracts around. I had very bad insurance for a very high price. Until I got a quote from Amanda DiMaio through Mary Ann O'Brian's agency. I was quoted half of what I was paying before, for the same coverage. Now that I'm a little older and my license is clean, my rates continue to drop. And the best part about all this? I never called the agency. I never sent an email. I simply message my agent on Facebook and she takes care of me asap. On your way to DMV? She's sent me insurance cards 5 times while I was in transit. Truly great service. Do recommend for young drivers and people who may have had some infractions.

This is the worst agent on earth. She is rude, her staff is rude and she is totally incompetent. You buy a new car and her from the dealership to transfer your insurance and you get a suspension notice from NY department of vehicles. You make an appointment on your lunch hour and wait while they take phone calls and don't even greet you or ask you to sit down.  You send in a cancellation request a month before a lapse/ cancel and you get a bill instead of check. Then they send the phony bill to collections. So now I have to pay $113.41 because I do not have time to correct all of their errors and listen to her play the "blame  game", and want to protect my credit.  Farmers is not the best company, with poor customer service,  and this agent is the worst. Take your money and go to another company or regret  it.  This agent is not worth the hassle.  I pay my premiums and have a perfect credit score and my reward is to be totally screwed over yet again after I left this agent/company and went to Liberty Mutual.  Go there instead.  You will spend the same amount of money but get treated better. I am making a complaint as well to the BBB and the DOI.
