Priced for the crowds, even when there are... no crowds! I can see this place being popular during football season, other nearby LSU sporting events, or (naturally) for the center's equestrian events. We were there for none of those, and the nightly price tag was pretty steep considering the lack of amenities. We got out of this mud-puddle pit-stop as soon as we could. Took a few of the frogs and other local critters with us, as unwitting hitchhikers.

Nice place but kind of tight if your rig is more than, I'd say 32' it'll be a bit sketchy setting up here. Also it's a bit $PRICEY$ but that really only makes sense considering the location.

Called ahead for a late Saturday arrival. Was told no problem, just com on in, plenty of empty spaces. However, the office was closed when we arrived and all of the electric boxes were pad locked shut. Found one that was open and stayed there. Office is apparently closed on the weekends. Aside from the terrible fire ants everywhere, it was nice. Could look at the horses but not get near them. The dump station was awful. The discharge pipe was sticking out at a 45° angle and there was no way to secure the hose to it. Even with a doughnut. Took two of us to pump out. Found someone to pay on Monday but for $45 per night, it definitely isn't worth it to stay here.

$35 nightly for sites with only water and electricity is outrageous...sites are not properly graded and most sites hold water when it rains...some spaces are rutted up and the not so clean bathhouse isn't air conditioned ...this should be a $15-$20 per night campground at most...The only thing this place has going for it, is it's close proximity to LSU
