Ooh la la. Come stay in the cool shade of this quiet campground just a few minutes from the Mighty Mississippi and sample all the cultural and natural treasures that are uniquely Louisiana. Tour the area's grand plantation homes and their glorious gardens. Feast on authentic Cajun cooking in down-home cafes. Wind by boat through a world of bayous and swamps. Discover great finds antiquing in a nearby historic district. Visit the state capitol and a World War II destroyer. Explore Bass Pro Shops, Sam's Club and a variety of restaurants, all within walking distance. Convenient interstate access makes it all easy to reach. It's also easy to stay here, where asphalt streets lead to concrete Pull-Thru RV Sites for even the biggest rigs. Check out the new Deluxe Cabins and other improvements, including the brand-new paved streets. Relax in the large in-ground hot tub and the pool with a waterfall. I would have rated this KOA higher except our experience was a disappointment. We had called and made reservations to make sure our stay on 2/04/2018 had good TV for the SUPERBOWL. The person taking the call said their TV reception was excellent. Yes it was in the office, but at our site it was the pits. I called the office, and they sent someone to check it, yes it was poor, could not improve it, suggested we use the stub on next site that was vacant, not any improvement, so we watched a very poor picture. They could have checked this out before we arrived and fixed the problem, would I recommend this KOA, NO!!!

Excellent KOA! Not only is it walking distance to shopping and dining, but it is connected to a nice large park with playground and a double-sided dog walking area. The KOA also had a pool, hot tub, mini golf, and game room. It has its own dog run with agility equipment and dog washing station. It really has it all!

OK as an in route stop, but not worth the $55 KOA wants for a night here. Sites were a little tired looking. The pads all needed pressure cleaning and some repair. Sites are close. Few trees and no landscaping. Just off the highway, so of course it was very noisy. Not that it was really needed, but there was no gate or security person at night.

Nice place with no problems. Friendly staff. We had a nice pull through site with a paver patio and picnic table. There was enough length on the concrete pad for our 36 foot Class A and our toad parked behind the RV. Lots of RV people of all types of rigs from a tent camper, very small A frame travel trailer, 5th Wheels of all kinds and some nice Class As passing through and/or staying a couple days. We stayed a week. Some long time tenants in the back. The dog park is pretty nice with obstacle course equipment and lighting. There is a miniature golf course, but we didn't try that. Strong WiFi about 20Mbps. All other utilities worked fine. They have over 20 channels of cable, but we didn’t try that and just watched via our OTA antenna and streaming. We paid $55.00 per day for their PULL THRU, 50/30 AMPS, FULL HOOKUPS, less a 10% discount for a KOA Value Kard Rewards membership that more than paid for itself on this one stay.

Always friendly and clean. The place has easy access in out. They have propane onsite if you need to fill up and are very close to restaurants and shopping. There’s a bass pro across the street for camping items you might need to stock up on if they don’t have it already in tbd KOA store.
