Perhaps your homilies need to include Mae culpa for our church; rather than just pointing fingers at the world political leaders. Perhaps 60 Million unborn babies are martyrs to undo the sins of sexual abuse and sexism in our all male hierarchy? So......consider to include church leaders every time you accuse political ones. It’s really easy to be against abortion but for war, capital punishment and sexism in the church and world while refusing contraception ? Such refusals have no consequences for Church leaders or any other men. Outlawing abortion is not likely while supporting war and violence. Until men are willing to outlaw their own violence insisting women do is simply attempting to remove the splinter from your sisters eye while ignoring the Boulder in your own. To stand there and sanctimoniously preaching about a culture of life while supporting a president who wants to spend over 50% of our budget in war and refusing mothers and babies even basic services and healthcare , insulting black and brown people and closing our borders to refugees from violence only because he claims to support outlawing abortion is almost comical if it were not so sad. Of course abortion is wrong......but threatening a nuclear holocaust is the essence of evil. Just think......you might be supporting the anti christ just because he claims , for now , to be against abortion?
