The food was okay but the clients at this restaurant were of family and older audience. A very family friendly atmosphere. They will give you a large potion of food for the price. Best to share if not a big eater.

Quality is on an obvious downhill slide from our last visit. The chicken pieces were smaller with more breading; there was as much breading as fish; the fries were not warm enough to melt shredded cheese; the shrimp could not be tasted or identified due to the heavy breading. The first plate of roles were barely warm. Two people in our group ordered the new Shrimp Poor-Boy and neither considered it good. In addition to the degraded food quality, we noticed there are no more washable small cups/bowels. All sauces and coleslaw now come in paper cups. Butter now comes in prepackaged containers and is not as good as the butter previously served in the cups. Fatz in Aiken has been a good restaurant for many years, but they may be in a death spiral. Kitchen staff (turnover?) and store management are the likely suspects. This is a sad change.

The service was great, Christian was on point and always there to help. We ordered a Pot Roast and cheese fries and there were on time and good tasting. Great place, you should visit.
