It's a great place for large gatherings. We have our family reunions here and birthday parties. They are not pet friendly even though they are close to the county animal shelter and their pool has strange rules, like not using noodles or flotation devices. My son and daughter are too young to be in a pool without assisted flotation.

Good, clean little county park with reasonably priced shelters and swimming pool. Less crowded than a lot of state parks that are more well known. Great place to take the family. The lights display they put on at Christmas is also an enjoyable family activity.

Real nice was there for a wedding but also used to go swimming here when I was younger.
