The new owner and staff have done a lot to turn this place around. It smells cleaner and more importantly, the employees are very nice and extremely helpful.

Bought a ferret from them for the kids as a Christmas present. Bad idea! He bites a lot and likes to latch on pretty hard. Now before you come off with "well all ferrets are like that at first... blah blah blah" I know! Save your wind. We had a little problem with our other ferret being scared and nipping at first. But eventually she got used to the house and now she's real friendly (let's you pick her up, will sleep by you etc.) But she was never anywhere near as aggressive as this one. I called the store to see about bringing him back. "No return policy but we can adopt him." Says the salesperson. Yeah so you can sell him again? This guy might be good for an adult  who has time to train him and doesn't mind taking a few nip wounds  here and there but not a good family pet. Thanks Feedmart I'm out $165.00 and this ferret is gonna have a pretty miserable life because he's not gonna get to leave his cage and play all day like the other one gets to. All because you cheap bastards want to squeeze a little more blood from the turnip!!

Great store! My favorite pet store, all animals taken care of and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. I've bought all of my reptiles from here, and their food too. This place is great!

If you own a cat don't bother. Store stunk horribly of pet oder and wasn't clean.

I am so happy to have a local store that sells high quality, natural pet foods-including easy to feed raw diets! Great selection of must have items for fish and reptile care as well...all my pets can have top-quality care locally! My only complaint is that they sell kittens :( I hope this will stop in the future, because I like shopping here with such good items and friendly staff, but don't like supporting the sale of kittens when there is such an overpopulation problem.
