I felt really optimistic about the job.  I liked my quote and how they worked with me to get exactly what I wanted, but, it didn't go so great after that. T
he people who did the actual work were completely uncommunicative.  They did not tell me when they arrived, when they were finished, or when they were going to rip the skylights out of my bathroom, which would've been helpful for planning my day.  They left a huge mess in the bathroom and cracks allover the ceiling.  I cleaned it, patched it, and painted it.  When it started raining, though, water started coming in through our bathroom fan!  We told them and they made no speedy attempts to deal with the problem.  

After about a week, they came out and said they'd send someone out after awhile.  I contacted them to see when these people were coming, and they said they already had but that no one had been notified including the people running the company!  I was home during most of the day when my roof had supposedly been repaired, but I took their word for it.  

Eventually, a big rain came and we found water pouring in again.  They came out to check and found that their guys had not completed the job.  The shingles were all able to flap up in the wind, leaving nails exposed and water could just pour in.  Begrudgingly, their people came out again.  They left without informing us and we don't know what they did.  No one from Kanga Roof has come out to check the work to make sure it was done right this time.  I have contacted and requested they come out to make sure the work was done, but have not received any response except for a request to pay my bill. 

 The fan in my bathroom no longer works after water poured through it.  If that hadn't happened though, who knows how much damage we would have accumulated!  I suggest that anyone who has had work done by this company check to make sure it was done properly.

Update:  I don't think the roof has leaked since the third attempt to fix it.  I had to call in an electrician to replace the fan, because of the damage from the leaking "repair," so the ceiling has to be repaired, again.  Once again, I am so grateful that I figured out how much damage was done before it rotted the wood.

Kanga Roof and Craig did an amazing job on our home.  The roof looks great and they offer a lot of options.  Craig took complete ownership of the project and the company did all the work when it came to dealing with the insurance. The yard was properly cleaned when the work was done and the crew was respectful of our needs.  I would highly recommend this company for any roof project in the Austin area!

I really loved working with Kanga. Most reviews just talk about the price and the work done (which was great on both parts!) but few talk about the people. To me, the people are what a company is all about. And I can tell you that Scott, Stacie, Craig, and the whole team are just awesome. Kind, down to earth, and super professional. If you need roofing workm gutters, or screens, then you should call Kanga!

I received an email prior to Josh's arrival giving me his name, picture, and a bio of his experience.  He was on time, knowledgeable of his craft, and provided a clear picture of the problem.  He arranged to have the repair done quickly and the cost was reasonable.  I will definitely use Kanga Roof in the future.

Kanga Roof did a great job.  They do quality work at a fair price.  They are very professional and courteous and their experience and knowledge of their trade shows in the high quality work they do. They kept us informed on everything they were doing and they got ours done in one day.   They also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards.  We were very satisfied with them and we recommend them to all who are looking for a great roofing company who does fantastic work, lots of knowledge and experience and outstanding professionalism.  Thanks again Kanga Roof, we will be using you from now on.
