The most honest roofing company I've ever come across.  I would not go to anyone else.  

I had Elliott out to look at some damage.  Over the phone, he clearly laid out the cost structure and polices.  Once he arrived, he was kind and generous with his time.  He walked through and explained everything to me in great detail.  After all said and done, he recommended that I do it myself!  Unbelievable!  He also said I have another 2-3 years on my shingles, so there is no need to rush.  I will only use Ja-Mar!

I came across them and trusted them due to metal roofing alliance, it turned in to one of the worse contractor experience in my life. They are extremely unprofessional, they performed shoddy workmanship, failed to communicate about any and all developments of the project as they were coming across them and showed absolutely no sense of urgency for making sure that there was a roof over our house. This was corroborated by a consultation from another metal roofing company and agreed with us that our roof is not worth what they are charging us, nor will it last the full life that the roof should. 

In the end, we got a poorly installed metal roof, extremely high, unexpected charges, a rodent problem due to our house being without a roof for so long and a situation where we are now heavily considering legal action. 

In addition to the poor roof installation job and the likelihood that we won't have a roof for very long if we don't do something about it, here are the additional problems that JaMar roofing created:

Front yard garden and grass has died due to debris left for weeks by the roofing company (I'm an avid gardener and this is unacceptable, months of work on my garden are now gone). 

Rusted nails and small particles of debris were left in our front and back yard, making it unsafe for our children to play and for my dog to go outside. 

Chunks of the siding on my house have been replaced by wooden boards, making the the house perishable to water in addition to the new holes in the sidings they created and told no one about. 

Our guest room ceiling now has two holes the size of a foot from where insulation is now come through into the house and made a huge mess in our guest closet. 

I now have a rodent infestations that was caused by our house not having a roof for about a month, while JaMar couldn't even get a hold of a crew to finish the job. Our roof was literally pass on by 4 crews and apparently they were all fired. 

We currently still have an attic full of debris and chunks of roof, which 
we have decided not to clean until this situation is resolved. This means that we aren't fully aware of any additional damage that could have happened in our attic.

My experience with Ja-Mar Roofing was thoroughly satisfactory.  Their communication was excellent; the cost for repairing the leak in my roof was fair and reasonable, and the quality of the work was outstanding.  They kept in touch and followed through to make sure the result was the best it could be for me.  I  highly recommend this company.

I was given a very a competitive quote after Ja-Mar thoroughly checked my attic and roof to detect source of leak. They returned exactly on time and repaired my roof as agreed (with before and after photos). Great service!

JaMar installed a roof on my house in Port Aransas. There are some  shady roofers operating at the coast after Harvey, really charging high prices, so it was comforting to have a well-established, reputable firm like JaMar install a high-quality roof. They completed the job on schedule, at a fair price.
