PARKING: Weird and spread out, but there should be enough for their capacity. I uploaded a photo of their parking map for convenience. 

OVERALL: Awesome decor and a really cool feel. Burgers were great, but they skimped hard on the Mac and Cheese on their "Mac Daddy" burger. Fry seasoning was delicious. The menu was on the smaller side, but it was really diverse. I don't think I've ever seen hoecakes on a menu that had wine, but you'll find that here.

Absolutely the best place in Lynchburg to get barbecue. And if you're looking for a hard to find whiskey most likely Fifth and federal station will have it. Indoor seating and outdoor seating is a plus and regularly there is live music. Staff is friendly and service is excellent. 5 stars all the way.

We made a 5:30 reservation for the back room. We arrived a few minutes early to find they had given our table away and they offered to seat us outside...on a cool January night. It was in a tent with a heater, but as a table of 9, only half of us were in the tent and only 3 of us near the heater. Anyway, we waited an hour for our food, and my husband had to wait an extra 15 minutes for his french fries. One friend had to leave early and needed to ask for a box twice. When the food finally did come out it was warm, but not hot, and some of our serving sizes were disappointingly small, especially for the price. I got the brisket, which was only 3 small, tough, flavorless pieces. I asked for a sharp knife, as we were only provided with butter knives...it never came. I am a small woman with a small appetite, and I left hungry. Two in our party ordered the combo platter. Some of the portions were a decent size, but they only got 1 rib and 1 small piece of brisket. When all was said and done, all 9 of us agreed that we would not be coming back.

Stopped here for a quick take-away. We were a couple of international people that wanted to grab something before heading home. This is very traditional American comfort food. Friend ordered pasta with blue cheese and it literally had no taste, I had the brisket and I have had better but it wasn't bad. Possible that our experience wasn't as great because we ordered out and asked to rush the order but it was pretty crowded and clients looked like regulars

This is one of the best of the newer restaurant to open in Lynchburg in the last few years.  Their barbecue is some of the best we have in town and I am getting hungry just thinking about it now.  Their other food items have always been good as well.  They have a great selection of bourbon and a  large comfortable outside area for dining.
