Bar opens Monday - Saturday 4:30 pm for Happy Hour.

Food and service were incredible as was the ambiance. Took a recent Doctorate to dinner here and they did not disappoint. The garlic mash potatoes are great as was everything else we had. The wait staff worked together as a team and made us feel like we were the only ones in this crowded restaurant. There is a bar as well if you are looking for some adult libation. We will be back.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and loved it! Everything we ordered from cocktails to appetizer to entree was amazing! The big wins for us were the stuffed mushrooms and the mac and cheese. Service and ambience were great as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great fine dining experience.

I took my husband for an early Father's Day dinner last week and the meal was excellent. We started our meal with the scallop appetizer which was delicious. I had the crab stuffed trout and my husband had a blackened rib eye for our entrees. Both meals were outstanding!! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Parking was a bit of a challenge but well worth circling the block a couple of times. We've already decided to return for our next special occasion dinner.

Phenomenal cuisine. Fantastically attentive and exceptionally mannered service. Undeniably the best dining experience in Lynchburg, VA. My photos do no justice to their fate. See their website for much better photos. You will not be disappointed at Shoemakers!

The BEST restaurant in Lynchburg. I have had the good fortune to live around the world and often dine in the finest restaurants. Shoemakers is fantastic. The food quality is the best available and the kitchen knows exactly what to do with it; the service is fabulous and the kitchen and restrooms always immaculate. No downside.
