The dudes working here are super helpful. Great customer service! The quality of Filson has gone down though ever since they started outsourcing their manufacturing overseas. The price point no longer matches the quality.

Very poor customer service. After 3 years the back pack/laptop bags has frayed so much that it looked terrible. I phoned customer service and sent in photos. They emailed me with s form and a mailing address. They also sent 2 pdfs wth photos of clothes they had repaired. The repairs were all patched or cross stitched. Finding this not helpful I emailed them back asking how they would fix the piping on the straps saying that it was $40 to ship the bag to them. After 4 emails they would not commit to a technique without seeing the bag. These low quality repairs pictured would look terrible on this backpack and without some sort of idea of the type of repair this bag is going into the garbage. Why couldn't their customer service be more helpful. Makes the lifetime warranty useless.
Finally paid a long overdue visit to the Filson store in Toronto, and all expectations were exceeded. The store, itself, is welcoming and well-stocked, but more importantly, the staff immediately make you feel welcome and as though you've been shopping there for years. I look forward to my next visit!
It’s a lovely place, while I will appreciate if they would update the store hour instantly online then I need not come here and find it is closed
Great quality products and even better people working here. Staff are extremely personable and helpful, big shout out to Colt for going above and beyond with helping me get ahold of a few different pieces that I was looking for. I will definitely be returning in the near future to add on to my collection.
I can't say enough about this store. The staff are some of my favourite people in the city.. they're extremely personable, and helpful, you just wanna hang out there all day and chop it up. The vibe and ambiance matches everything you imagine a brand like Filson to be about.. it feels like a cozy cabin! Yes, its expensive, but in an age of disposable "goods", you get what you pay for, and every high quality piece of Filson gear I own feels like a solid investment and has served me well. I know I will own these items for years to come. I run the gear hard between my manual labour job and outdoor activities. Many of their pieces look better with wear, age and develop nice patinas uugh, my favourite worrd. So don't stress.. Be a part of a long, rich history of work wear.. GET DIRTY & LOOK GOOD!! Thank you Kevin & Filson fam! You all represent this iconic brand with great pride and it shows. - Ike
Had to give a shout out to the amazing customer service I have received from this store on more than 1 occasion. They are super helpful to work with by phone and able to quickly and seamlessly courier my orders to me as I am out of town and not often able to get into the store in person. The quality of all Filson products is exceptional and the amazing staff at the Toronto store make shopping with them a pleasure.
Some of the nicest people work at this store. Alex and Marco are two of the staff that I dealt with. As much as I'd hoped it would, the bag that I purchased 24-hour Tin Cloth didn't work for me. True to their policy, they took it back it still looked new as I'd used it with care. Marco explained to me why canvas may not be the right material for me, and offered a nylon option as well which to me isn't worth being called a Filson bag. I have to admit that at this price point I didn't expect the bag would be made anywhere other than North America it was made in Vietnam. That was bit of a disappointment and also a reason I was dissuaded from the purchase.
Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me figure out exactly what I needed, and went to find my size from the back when it wasn't on the shelf. All the staff today were excellent, couldn't ask for more.
