I am always nervous about getting my hair done no matter where I go. Since moving to League City last year I had yet to find a place I could return with confidence. I love the small town feel of the salon and Audra did a great job on my hair. I am seeing her again this weekend for highlights and hope to make it my salon!

Best hair cut and color I've ever had!

I was not impressed.  For a hole in the wall, you'd think the owner wouldn't be so snobby.  She was a couple minutes late for my appt, even though she was in the building with no other client.  Okay, a couple minutes ... no biggie.  Then she sat me down and asked what I was wanting as far as a hair cut.  Cool.  I said, "I just wanted a trim, but I usually just straighten my hair and would like for her to show me an easier way of styling without taking so long."  She just chuckled and told me it wasn't possible because I had long hair.  Hmm ... Odd seeing as how my other hair stylist has said opposite and shown me opposite.  (It was really just a question to see if she had other ways.  Not something I really needed to know as I already had other ideas.)  She washes my hair and brings me back to her chair to start cutting.  She doesn't talk to me at all.  The one thing she did ask was if my hair tangled easily.  Yep ... It's long and thick.  That was it.  Nothing else for the 45 min I was there.  Awkward.  Oh, but wait ... A woman came in to sell cookies and she stopped to do that, then stopped to talk to someone else.  Once she was finished, my bangs looked uneven, so I asked her about it.  She replied, "Well, I pulled them to the front and cut them at the same time, so they shouldn't be."  She didn't check her work.  Simply said "they shouldn't be".  Then she gave me a mirror and, instead of turning me around to check out the back, she made me get out of the chair.  Then giggled when I tripped over the bar step on the chair.  Klassy.
I will most definitely NOT be returning.  I gave the poor woman a $5 tip only because she had to brush out my long, tangled, wet hair.  Judging by the way I was treated, she probably thinks I couldn't afford more.  Trust me, sweetie.  I can afford more.  I typically pay over $200 for highlights and a cut, but wanted to try you because a friend referred me and I figured, why not save $200.  Well, I would much rather pay the $200+, than have to sit through your rudeness again.  Oh, the owner's name is Pam.

*LOVE* Final Touch.  When I moved here a few uears ago from NYC I had a tough time finding a salon that met my expectations.  Friend referred me to Pam at Final Touch- and since friend's hair always looked great, I gave it a try.  Top notch! 3 years later I'm still going there  and I couldn't be more pleased.  Even my "city" friends love the styling!  TIP1: Late afternoon cut & color appts are hard to get, so book a few weeks in advance.
