Small, clean, nice contemporary salon. My stylist Jacob did an outstanding work on my highlights correction--I kept going to a local salon near my house and every time I would ask my stylist to make it brighter he would make it yellow and brassy looking plus every time I would walk out of the salon my hair would feel like straw! Not only was the color bad but it also impacted the texture. After visiting Fine Artistik Salon, my hair was the color that I requested and my hair felt soft. AND IT LOOKED SHINY! When I left the salon, while I was in Starbucks line waiting for my order, I got 2 compliments on my hair. Prices are great and online booking is a nice convenience, too. Highly recommend 5 stars!

Jacob cuts, colors and styles hair to perfection. No flyaways here. He gets it, based on a few adjectives on what you want, and listens. No more hair disasters. He is very talented. You will have 100% confidence that he will steer you in the right direction, and your hair will look healthy, modern, and cool. He is friendly and provides excellent customer service. Highly recommend...

I'm crazy ... & Jacob gets my crazy and makes me a better looking crazy. I first found Jacob when I needed a quick fix to a horrible color job. My flight landed from LA and I went straight to him. He's patient and honest with what will work and what won't. I love my color and cut and will continue to go back. Finally found a new hair place since my move to NY. The salon is a lot of fun as well! Jacob and Coco love to laugh and chat & it's overall a great experience (and not just because of the full candy dish they always have!). Highly recommend!

I have found my man and his name is Jacob! I moved from San Francisco a few years ago. I spent the first year going to many local salons trying to find the right person to cut and color my hair. I was so shocked because I am a very easy going and not super picky person. I went to big salons + with big names + big dollars but the result was never outstanding- just average. I wanted a change and all I wanted was the balayage highlights and a trim. Simple! I finally found a salon on upper east side called Fine Artistik Salon. From the minute I walked in it felt right. It wasn't stuffy, it had a range of stylists and the creative energy flowing was perfect. They recommended me to Jacob and he gave me exactly what I was looking for. He is a complete expert in his field. This past week was my third visit to him. He makes it seem effortless and I always walk away feeling beautiful. You can tell he has been in the hair Industry forever. His creativity is always spot on. A genuine stylist with superior qualities. I can't thank Jacob enough. I can just relax and I let him do what he does best. I might consider hair extensions just for a bit of fullness body and some movement but will have to wait and see how I feel. Thank you Jacob!

I found Jacob's salon by searching best salon for highlights on Upper East Side. The search proved spot on!! From my first highlighting with Coco, to follow up haircuts and touch ups, I am never disappointed. Not only can I say that my experiences always have me looking and feeling great, I can't say enough about the dedication and professionalism of both Jacob and Coco. Love these guys!!
