I purchased the Jordan Retro 12’s on 12/21/2017 with cash at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall for my fiancé but unfortunately they were too big. Tonight I tried to return the shoes with a store manager by the name of Josh Dennis who refused to return them because he said that his manager said that they are not allowed to return the specific shoe that I had purchased. I then called the customer care number on the back of the receipt and they told me that as long as I had the receipt and the shoes were not worn (which they were not) that you could return these shoes at any finish line. I then put Josh Dennis on the phone with the customer care representative so that she could tell him that these shoes were in fact able to be returned and he specifically told her “I will not be doing this return, I have gotten written up twice for returning these shoes and I refuse to return them”. I then asked him to call the Manager by the name of Kim H. Whom is above him and he put her on speaker and she said “I’m not clocked in, I’m not dealing with this, if they want to speak with me they can come in tomorrow”. In the mist of all this, the supervisor I spoke with on the customer care hotline by the name of Chin told me she could not help me and actually hung up on me. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated tonight. To come in to a store where I am being denied an exchange where I met all requirements and guidelines is ridiculous. I’ve never been treated this way by Champs, Footlocker, or Footaction. I will never spend my hard earned money on a store where management actually hangs up on a customer, TWICE. I even called 3 other Finish lines and they told me that I could return them so why is this specific location going by its own set of rules and regulations? Shame on this store. I am very disappointed and I will be sure to make sure my family and friends never purchase from this business again. P.S I’m a customer service representative and your store (525) and it’s employees are the epitome of the bad customer service that hinders businesses from flourishing.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT ( I cannot stress it), DO NOT purchase ANY shoe from this location that you may have to return (for size, gift, unsure; etc). I know that everyone is in the business of making money BUT how can you purchase shoes from a location that refused to take them back EVEN though they have not even been tried on and are still laced tightly. Here’s how it went: I went with intentions to get my son shoes for his birthday and they didn’t have the size I needed. I then saw a pair for my husband for his birthday, they had the size for him and I snagged them. Oh they were the Retro Jordan’s (released 2weeks prior) So the very next day, a new pair of Retros came out that my husband liked and so I bought those in hopes of surprising him for his birthday from Footlocker. I went back 3 days after purchasing and was told they don’t return retros and to try taking them back to another Finishline... like what?!?! I asked to speak with manager, Kim. She wasn’t rude to me (I won’t lie, unprofessional but nice) and told me that it was their policy to not take Retros because they can easily be purchased online and they will put the fake shoes in the box.... I’m like 😳... but she said that the GM would only allow me to exchange them.. exchange them- with the receipt?! That’s still taking them back! I just couldn’t believe it... I was able to take them to another Finishline for refund- no questions asked! I will NEVER purchase another pair of shoes out of here. How is this possible?! The receipt does not state that shoes cannot be returned. I have a recommendation, as a manager, it is not good to say... “this worker on the receipt (as she points to his name) will be written up. This will be his 3rd write up and he’s going to be fired.” Really?! He was a nice guy, him and the other guy that had been working there. I also pointed out that there was a kid behind the register. She said “oh yeah, he’s mine!” I said okay.. I’m know of people who bring their kids to work... BTW- the 1 star is for the customer service provided by them! I will only purchase from here if I can’t get shoes from Footlocker AND I know they will not need to be returned. I did call to 2 Finishline stores that said they could take the shoes back! I was able to return them Dolphin Mall- no questions asked and the Manager responded saying “these will Be sold in 5 minutes”. That’s how you make money!!! You have to be in the business to take loses and gains! It’s a place of business!! I wonder what the BBB or Help Me Howard would say!

Do NOT buy shoes from here. Terrible exchange policy and management. Bought a pair of shoes from another Finish Line location at a different mall. I didn't even wear them except trying them on at the store, I decided I didn't like the color and kept the tags on and the receipt. (Adidas Tubulars) I figured I would return them at another location for a refund or exchange for another color and I was told by customer service that it would not be an issue. At this location, they didn't have anything in my exact size (11.5) so I wanted to return for a refund. They said they couldn't refund my money, and I would have to go to the other store for that. I decided to exchange for a size 11 instead. The manager tried to tell me the shoes I wanted to exchange were "damaged" and said that she couldn't resell them!! Are you kidding me? They were immaculate, and she pointed out some lint that was on the bottom from trying them on at the other location. Wouldn't give me a receipt to exchange for another pair and wouldn't give me a refund! Acted very unprofessionally and rude, insenuaded that I was lying about not wearing them which really pushed my buttons. Their "return" policy allows franchise owners and management to dance around customers, giving whatever excuse they may have not to take the shoes back even if you didn't wear them. I would not purchase from here again, you're better off somewhere else!
