The people at fins and critters are not a business in my eyes they are a family. Over time they have learned who I am and what I like and treat me with respect and kindness and help me even if it doesn't help them. They are truly amazing. . shout-out to Sue you are one amazing woman!

I bought a cockatiel for my 11 year old son with severe depression He picked out a bird that looked a little sicklee and against me and my wife's better judgement, we bought the bird for 70.00.A employee at the store told us that the reason the bird had bald spots and ruffled feathers was because the bird was too young and that the bald spots would fill in and that the feathers would straighten. Well, the bird that my son fell in love with died in under 3 months. On calling the store and talking to the store owner , who flat out told me that it was my fault for buying a bird that we thought looked sicklee in the first place. No compassion or sympathy was given , just a very cold and nasty demeanor. I hope this never happens to anyone else. I know we'll never shop there ever again and i'll tell everyone i know about this very upsetting experience.

Best service with very knowledgeable staff. Lets my Wife and I handle any appropriate animals and you can tell they are genuine animal people. Best pet store in Gastonia, Kings Mountain, or Shelby (where located).
