If you post the menu on line, please take the time to update it. This is what was online & got my juices flowing. Bone in pork chop, but what’s on the menu is pork medallion, maybe it’s the same cut but without the bone, or maybe it isn’t. Was taken aback when I saw it & it tasted a tad salty. Menu gave the impression that entrees were al a carte. So I ordered garlic mashed potatoes as the side. Pork came with polenta & Brussel sprouts. Both were delicious but I had a heaping bowl of mashed potatoes that were also delicious, but I didn’t really need them. Not a bad problem to have, but I are more than I should have. Our Server, Cass, was very personable, efficient & on the ball. All in all, it was a pleasant and enjoyable evening spent with special friends.
Really cool place to eat. Nice atmosphere for a special date night but relaxed enough for anytime. We got the bruchetta appetizer and it was delicious. For main course we got the filet and garlic mashed potatoes. It was amazing! cooked to perfection, seasoned well, and so tender. Our waiter was very professional yet friendly and surprised us with a complimentary desert and champagne to celebrate our anniversary. We would definitely go back for special occasions.
My husband, mother, and I went here for the first time last Friday night. We went for my birthday and parts of it we really enjoyed. I would say some things were a 5, but my main entrée a 2 1/2. The restaurant was extremely loud the night we were there and both my husband and mom had a hard time hearing what was being said at our small table. She is elderly and I would say after that experience, it would not be a restaurant for her to go to. Positive things were … My husband got the Buttered Chicken and he said he would give it a 5. He said it was some of the best fried chicken he’d ever had and he really enjoyed the Dijon Cream Gravy that came with it. My mother and I got the fish Chef’s Choice, but I was very disappointed and did not eat it all. It was so loud in there and hard to hear the waiters description and I’m not sure I heard him say basil. I really don’t like basil and there seemed to be a lot on there and it did not seem to be a very savory dish. We enjoyed their bread , but thought it was relatively average. They gave me a birthday dessert and we thought that was wonderful! Although Blueberry Cobbler is not my favorite, I thought that was so … nice and thankfully took it. It did have ice cream with it which I thought was good and it was large enough to split with my mother. My husband ordered Creme Brûlée he knows it’s a favorite of mine and he shared some with me. It was absolutely delectable and I would give that a 5. We also got an appetizer, Tuna with a Wasabi Sesame Oil and I loved it! My husband thought their Macaroni and Cheese was scrumptious and it was a very large serving as well. Although our waiter seemed busy, he was pleasant and he was the one who ensured I got the birthday dessert. In closing, I’m not sure if I would go there again. I might, but it was so ….. loud and for the type of entrees and the price, I think I would like a little quieter atmosphere. Additionally, I would never order that fish dish again, but another dish may be better.
I was greeted and seated with ease and smiles. I ordered the FOG Burger with garlic herb fries and they were both super tasty. The bun is house made and has a unique flavor. I could taste the seasoning in the meat patties and they were super juicy and flavorful. The fries were fresh with fresh herbs and garlic that you could actually taste. Definitely could tell that it wasn't something out of a bottle they poured on the fries. Spoke with Grant, the owner and head chef at length and he's a great guy with a great story. Glad that I stopped by and I do plan to return.
I'm not sure that I will be back here. I haven't been to the Fire Oak Grill since the new owners took over several years ago. They were pretty busy on a Thursday night. I ordered the fish tacos, which was one of their features. After about 20 minutes, I asked the bartender how much longer it was going to be. They told me the kitchen got a little crazy and it would be out soon. Less than 5 minutes later, I had my dinner. The tacos were good but they were not $24 good. Between the amount of time it took for me to get my dinner and the overpriced food, I do not see myself coming back here anytime soon, if ever.
We had a reservation and waited over an hour for our food. When we ask the server why the food was late he conveyed they had a large party amongst other excuses and then stated that's what the owner said, That could have said something earlier and explained the situation instead of us waiting for so long.
Our go to place for special occasion dinners. Always great with friendly staff! Try the tacos, my favorite paired with a skinny Margarita!
Fantastic food, many old favorites are created with an interesting twist. However, if you are traditional, the steaks and seafood are cooked perfectly or to order. Sous vide steaks melt in your mouth tender. We go almost every weekend. The tomahawk steak was fabulous. Don’t forget the adult beverages.
Amazing truffle Mac & cheese crab pasta. The stuffed jalapenos are top notch with a nice kick that will surprise ya. Highly recommend checking this place out. Price is VERY reasonable for what you are getting.
Absolutely FANTASTIC place to have lunch or dinner in Weatherford. Superb food and the staff are super friendly and attentive. My fiancé and I highly recommend this place! 10/10
