One church, sharing Christ's love in two locations: Downtown Campus at 101 Macon Street; and West Campus at 2176 Jonesboro Road.
First Baptist McDonough has been described by guests as one of the most unassuming and friendly groups of people they have ever met. Since 1825, this congregation has been in ministry. The rich history and heritage of First Baptist McDonough is the grand backdrop for this growing church poised to build a set of facilities for a third bright century of ministry.
You have a place to believe, belong, and become at First Baptist Church McDonough, and we invite you to join us one Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00 am at our Downtown Campus, or at 11:00 am at our West Campus, to see and feel what everyone in Henry County has been talking about. Our worship services are marked with the warmth of one of the best small choirs in greater Atlanta and the relevant teaching from one of Southern Baptist’s brightest young preachers, Dr. Charles J. Thomas.
Our mission is to “share Christ’s love…one person at a time.” As Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds, so we at First Baptist McDonough desire to do the same. You'll discover ministries that are geared to various life stages and needs. We have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
We want you to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of our church. Join us and share the stories still being written of Christ making the difference in people’s lives
To help people believe in God, belong to His Family, and become fully devoted followers of Christ.
