Story

Our membership is richly diverse with people of all ages and many different cultural and ethnic groups involved in every area of church life. Through our ministries, we offer dynamic worship services with biblically based sermons and inspiring music, an outstanding Christian education program for all ages, an extensive pastoral care and counseling program, and a global missions program extending throughout the city and around the world. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

My husband and I had our wedding here and the coordinators were great. They really have it nailed down regarding all the forms, procedures, and schedule for the wedding. They answered all my questions at a reasonable rate, and if they didn't know the answers, they were more than happy to find out for me. Only thing was that communication seemed to be lacking between the individual coordinators, so I had to repeat the information a couple of times. However, they're volunteers, so this is completely reasonable. Also, we got to have an organist and a trumpeter, which was amaaaaazing. For the day of, everyone was fantastic. I had no worries about scheduling, where people had to go, dealing with the musicians, etc. Very stress free! :) The venue is very breathtaking and fitting for such an event.

Terrific chicken tenders. I loved how they burnt the edges a little bit, but it added amazing flavor. Best KFC I've ever been to.

Great preaching. Opportunities to serve in the community. International and domestic mission trips. Exceptional opportunities for biblical learning. And all of it is Christ centered.

A Christian congregaton that works steadily to put the teachings of Christ into action. They live their faith by reaching out with helping hands and loving inclusion rather than just financial contributions from a distance. This inclusion is offered equally to potenial new members as well as to the homeless. Christ's message of love is truly alive that First Pres.
