First Presbyterian Church

About

A congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Story

First Presbyterian Church (FPC) in Bozeman is the oldest continuing Presbyterian congregation in the state of Montana having been organized in 1872, the same year that Yellowstone became the world's first national park. Ministering out of its historic location in downtown Bozeman as well as at its Rockhaven Camp and Retreat Center in the Gallatin Canyon, the people of FPC are joyfully engaged in the helping, healing, teaching and worshiping ministry of the Christian church.

Mission

First Presbyterian Church, in gratitude for God's gifts and empowered by the Holy Spirit, seeks

-to help people know the good news of Jesus Christ and His love for all;
-to worship God with warmth and beauty, dignity and joy;
-to nourish personal faith and our love for one another through study, prayer and fellowship; and
-to be a vibrant witness to our community and the world through outreach and mission.
