My family has been here in the Coachella Valley for over 100 yrs. Fitzhenry was the largest and took care of all the local families. When they decided to sell it was not the same, the new buisness was not local and had no idea who the local families were. When they decided to start their business again it was as an old friend was back in town and local families started to go back. Jack Sloan has worked for them at least 40 yrs, Jack took great care of two of our family members, my brother Inlaw in 2009 & my mother in 2014. Jack made sure they took gentle care of my sister who had just lost her husband and when my mother unexpectedly passed the first person my father called was Jack Sloan. He immediately drove to my fathers home and sat with him and waited for the coroner to arrive. He explained everything to us so we knew exactly what was happening and going to happen. It makes a world of difference when you know that your loved ones are being cared for by a local friend & by a local business that has cared for and has known not only your family but all of the Coachella Valley local families for generations.

It doesn't deserve one star. I found Mr. Gonzales, to have a very bad bed side manor. Someone needs to train him on how to interact with family that are in mourning. Avoid , Avoid !!
