THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORST PLACE EVER & MANAGEMENT IS RACIST. I was here for an event and once the event ended I realized I had lost my phone. I went back to this location and asked to look for my device; thankfully security let me upstairs to see if I could find it. Between me taking more than 2 minutes & my “suggestive skin color” the manager was literally trying to shooo me out the door because I didn’t “fit in” with the current event upstairs. He showed no remorse or empathy to the current situation & treated me as if I wasn’t a human being. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE & WILL TELL ANYONE WHO MENTIONS THIS PLACE TO RETHINK THEIR DECISION.

Relatively small space made for the music. The sound is incredible. Went for Chris Liebing and it was amazing.

Awesome bar. Some of the best staff DC has to offer. Lost my phone and it seems like the whole staff tried to help me find it. lol

I would love to give this place a better rating because the music is good. I could even recommend during the week but sadly my experiences outweigh any good. The staff are power hungry bullies. Just as an example one of the security guards forcefully and aggressively pushed thru 3 women in my company. I threw my hands up in the air in protest and was grabbed and jostled like a criminal. I decided to be the bigger man and just make peace. Dissapointing.

The lights, sound and experience make the club feel like you are in Miami, not DC. The recent opening of the rooftop was a welcome addition as it has a dancefloor and view of U Street. Additionally, the front door staff is great - I lost my wallet one night and they found it and returned it to me the next day. Highly highly recommend.
