Had my wife's 40th birthday party here.   The staff was superb in assisting with plans.  The experience of the staff showed with the questions they asked and the recommendations provided.

The food was excellent, everyone loved the Sliders and Crab Cakes as well as the appetizers.  Bartenders were given high praise also, creating a personalized drink for the occasion. 

The venue was amazing and supported our plans to eat, socialize and dance.  Easily fit the 50+ attending my event.

Highly recommend this venue for your next private event.

I was sexually assaulted here. I was dancing and some big creep thought it was okay to get behind me and grab my crotch. It was very upsetting. I have been here a couple of times over the years and lately it has attracted a lot of those type of people. It is a perfect environment for it. It is very very dark on the dance floors and it is packed with people. It took a while for security to throw the guy out. I would recommend Marvin reduce its capacity and have more vigilance. So if you are a girl I would use caution.

Super fun! Drinks are good (on the stronger side) and the vibe is chill - I like that there are multiple hangout locations so it gives you variety

Marvin is about as consistent as it gets in DC. It also has a great mix with its crowd and the drinks / music are pretty good. Bonus points for rooftops ofcourse.

Great spot to hang out after dinner.  They usually sell dinner but the kitchen was under renovation on our trip to DC.
