If I could give this company 0 stars, or even negative stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want your stuff to arrive intact. I recently used FlatRate for a move from NYC to LA and was promised "white glove service" instead my largest furniture arrived damaged or broken. And then was given a ridiculous claim payout that was not even close to 5% of what I paid for my items and less than what I tipped their employees to move my stuff. Instead was told they only have to provide reimbursements as long as the item can be replaced with something similar thus the quality of your furniture is not taken in to account. And sadly last time I checked something that is similar in looks does not equate to something similar in quality - but they dont seem to understand this or care. They will go above and beyond to get you to chose them and then its all downhill from there. So please go with a company that will actually take care of your stuff. Moving is stressful enough and the last thing you should have to deal with is explaining to a company "who does so much" why they should replace your stuff. JUST AWFUL!

I NEED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE TO FILE A CLAIM ASAP,  IVE CALLED..  IVE EMAILED, I CALLED THE ORIGINAL PERSON I MET WITH AND HER VOICE MAIL IS FULL.  ITEMS FROM  MY DELIVERY WERE MISSING.  EXTREMELY IMPORTANT ITEMS THAT ARE NEEDED FOR MY BUSINESS.  I'VE BEEN CALLING AND EMAILING FOR AT LEAST 2 MONTHS NOW.

Avoid this company.

A laptop and gaming console were stolen from boxes marked "electronics" and "games" (with new tape placed above the original tape to re-seal).  The laptop was in a carrying case inside the box, and when the box was opened, the carrying case had been emptied and the accompanying power cord in the box was missing.

A piano was also severely damaged, with insurance estimating about $7,000 in total loss + damages.

I have moved many times, locally and across country, and have never seen this level of loss and damage.

I had this company to move my stuff from Lynwood to Bell Gardens, and the employees were so RUDE that they broke my stuff, and half of my things were missing. Do not use this company. I ask one of the employees for his name, and he said his name was Isaac, which I think he was the worse one out of all. He would always be giving attitude, throwing the boxes even thoe it said fragile.! He ate someone my  cookies that I had on the table, when they were moving my stuff. Then ask me to use the restroom and he destroyed it, I think it was cookies he ate. The company is call flat rate, more like flat Cake.!! Cuz it Rhymes.! Well anyways im still looking for ISAAC if anyone's sees him can you contact me or let me know cuz he still owes me my cookies.! And to have him clean the restroom he destroyed it with his massive diarrhea..!

When the truck arrived to deliver my items, my Kayak, Entertainment center and multiple other items were "missing." Things that big don't get easily lost. The movers called the office and told me to do the same.

I called them multiple times to check on the missing items it no callbacks until I finally got an email from the claims division. I replied "does this mean you never found my items?" Once again they didn't reply.
