It's a small and interesting place to go through, it won't like more than 30 minutes unless you want to stop and read every single plaque

The museum is new and has an exhibit on the history of Florence County. Its a big well lit space with superior presentation and signage. There are also many temporary exhibits throughout the year to keep locals coming back. The museum offers art classes for all ages, family days and docent led tours too.

Friendly staff, good history of Florence, SC. I wish they were in there old building though.

The museum was beautiful but the curator who led us through was absolutely fantastic.
