I am pretty sure CSE is totally automated. They have like 5 ppl in a office that does the work for the entire state. It's funny how they say to call but they don't have a working calling system. Tip: on the contact tab on the site even though it says the chat is down IT'S NOT. As long as its normal business hours a robot is more than happy to chat with you . Through the chat you can request a representative to call you. That's the trick. However, even if you do fill out all of the paperwork and fax it in (Yes you can and if they say you can't it's a lie) or you mail it in they will still want you to drag your happy a$$ in there so they can look at you. I don't know why. It's very creepy.

Went up there twice with papers so they can update my case...They still haven't updated..... Also couldn't activate my card because they have my birthday 1 year off....Drove up there to show them my ID and update info.....Got home and couldn't activate my card..... They said to use the original wrong birthday . So three trips and accomplished nothing...

The website tells me that I have to call in to update my address in their system in order to use the eServices. I have tried calling on several different days, several different times of day, but I always get the same message, "...all agents are helping other callers... try your call again later...". Always. Every. Time. I. Call. Did they close down the department & not tell anyone? Why won't they answer the phone? I'm stuck in an endless loop of ineptitude!

The laziest and dumbest group of people we've ever had to deal with. One office has no problem finding what we need and another office has no idea what we're talking about so thanks to them, our tax refund is being held for arrears that are not owed pursuant to a court order that this agency received on more than one occasion!!!!

I was impressed with how helpful these people were when I needed assistance with sales tax processing. It's amazing how simple these scary things can be if you just ask. Specifically Jeanie (spelling?) at the walk up counter, and Delacruz over the phone. Definitely not what I expected in a government tax agency:)
