My regular doctor forgot to call in my diabetes medication refill before he closed on Friday and I have no way to reach him before I leave for a trip on Monday. I took my last pill this morning (Sunday) and took the bottle with me to the Walgreens clinic for a 2pm appointment. The Nurse Practitioner on duty refused to order a refill of the prescription and insinuated I was trying to trick him into something. Seriously?!? How many people are drug-seeking for diabetes medicine? He told me it was "dangerous" to give metformin, which is probably the most common diabetes drug out there. It's the "entry level" drug for type 2 diabetics because it is so safe and I'm on a low dose. Apparently, in his mind, it's less dangerous to leave a diabetic with no medication. Totally illogical. Thankfully the store manager and the pharmacist understood the problem and gave me a small supply of pills to get through until I could reach my regular doctor.

Even though I was the only person there at 9 am I was told I would have to wait until after the 930 am appointments were done. If the place was open at 9 am why couldn't I get seen? The clinic worker walked right by without acknowledging me so I had to ring the bell to get assistance. Also the sign in computers were offline making it impossible to make an appointment. Terrible customer service. I went elsewhere which is probably a good thing.

This was my first time trying Walgreens Healthcare Clinic. I wasn't sure what to expect. I met right away with William J. Kras III, ARNP and he was extremely professional. He was friendly and very helpful and thorough. I was diagnosed and prescribed antibiotics and only waited there 10 minutes for my prescription to be filled. I was in and out with my medication and I felt great about my overall experience. I'm very grateful and feel relieved to have found such a wonderful place to visit when I'm under the weather and my primary doctors office is closed. Thank you Mr. Kras and Walgreens!

Worst place to go to if you have to try to set it up by appointment. Mostly treat women's issues and not men

The Nurse Practitioner there was wonderful. She was so friendly and caring as well as knowledgeable about my daughter's illness.
