I absolutely love this place. Everything about my stay has been perfect. The location is perfect; It's very close to downtown and the best restaurants, yet you feel like you're out of the hustle and bustle. The owner is kind and very hospitable, my room was spotless and beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. The house itself is immaculate, and I could not recommend it highly enough. I hope to stay here many times in the future.

Having extensive experience with bed and breakfasts in my own hometown, I called to make a reservation at Flowertown and found the owner extremely eager to take my credit card information to book a room...but I did find it strange that she didn't ask me any questions about how many people we had with us, or give us any preliminary information about any important policies she had regarding who was and wasn't allowed to stay. We were running behind for check-in due to our dinner reservation running long. We communicated via phone call again to update her on our arrival time. When we arrived at 10 pm, the owner (I assume) greeted us at the door and as we had our two young children with us, she told us we couldn't stay there, that she didn't allow children under the age of 10 years old to stay in her Bed and Breakfast because her guests come there to, "Get away from children." She then sent us out into a violent thunderstorm to try to find another place to stay after 10 pm in a strange town. (I'm not even exaggerating about this!) While her policy may be the case, this policy should have been conveyed during the booking negotiations over the phone. Or maybe during the booking she should have inquired about how many were in our party! I didn't book online, so her claim about it being listed on her website is irrelevant. I booked over the phone. Important policies could be politely conveyed as such, "How many are in your party? What are the ages of your children? I'm sorry, but I do have a policy that no children under 10 years of age can be guests out of respect for our other guests in the home." It's not hard to be a good business owner and run your business with integrity. I wouldn't return for a visit based on this experience, and based on the owner's behavior, I would never recommend anyone else to stay here.

Loved this beautiful home! We arrived for our honeymoon rather late and she was kind enough to leave us a key on the front door. There was a note in the room that had all of the information we needed from Wi-Fi passwords to breakfast times. Room was amazing and the breakfast was delicious! I didn't think the woman was rude at all. My only complaint is that there are no locks on the individual door to our room. Other than that beautiful gardens quite home and clean rooms!

Wonderful Victorian-style house with a beautiful garden. The owner takes great care of her house and guests, and the breakfast is delicious.

It was a nice place, just not nice enough for what they charge. They didn't really communicate very well and kind of rushed through telling us everything so we didn't get the wifi password and we didn't know when breakfast ended so we missed it.
