This is absolutely one of my go to places for lunch. I have never been disappointed in the quality of my food. The only downside is I feel it’s on the high side of fair price wise, They do make up for this with their rewards program and their frequent buy one get one coupons. The gumbo and jambalaya are top notch, the poor boys are a pretty fair deal, And they have a nice selection of grilled or fried fresh water fish and seafood. The service is pretty good, staff is always friendly, and the kitchen is rarely slow. Another bonus to me is that the tea has always been fresh and is consistently good.

My wife loves this place

When you walk in, the decorations may seem kind of Cheesy Decorations, simple Green Booths or tables with checkered table cloths and metal chairs don’t leave the food is out standing. The Blues playing in the background is great, sometimes a little loud.

My wife’s go to order is always the 3 piece catfish with a generous amount of fries. I usually go for the Shrimp Poor Boy and fries. 

The food is prepared in a reasonable amount of time and then the Buzzer goes off to come pick your order up, No Table Service. So you do have to plan on getting your own  Cocktail, Tarter Sauce or any other additions your self. They do offer an array of sauces with a basket of crackers at the tables.

If your expecting fine dining, this is not the location. If your wanting great Fried Catfish or other Seafood then your at the right place enjoy your visit.

Fresh juicy fried oysters were great! Loved the food and atmosphere here. Fast service and my mouth is watering thinking about how good those oysters are. Highly recommend the Flying Fish in Firewheel mall. Next time I'll have to try the catfish. Enjoyed all of the fishing photos people posted on the walls.

Overpriced, wrong order, refused to replace my food, not worth it. Don't bother going here, if you want even a decent meal. The Jambalaya was weak and lacked flavor. There's a reason they put 4 or 5 different kinds of hot sauce on the table. You're going to need it for the bland food. For 30-35 dollars for 2 entrees considering the price and quality,  I would rather eat at literally any other restaurant. I used a BOGO coupon and it still wasnt worth it. Bunch of frozen garbage and mass produced trash.

Good food with great prices.   Try Grilled snapper with lemon butter sauce.   Awesome!
