Service is always friendly. Store is always clean. Best of all, I'm happy to give my money to a local business.

I was getting my ostomy supplies from Flynn's for a little while.  I need these supplies on a daily basis in order to function now.  My doctor wrote a prescription saying that I could have 4 boxes of ostomy bags, 4 boxes of barrier rings, 4 bottles of adhesive remover spray, and 4 bottles of skin barrier spray per month, as I am having some issues with wounds that aren't healing, which lessens the wear time of the bag.  My insurance has no limit on the amount of ostomy supplies I can order in a month.

I was told by Flynn's that they can only provide me with 1 bottle of adhesive remover spray and 1 bottle of skin barrier spray per month, even though my prescription entitles me to more.  Their reason?

"We do not get reimbursed enough by the insurance companies for us to be able to get you more than one per month."

Yes, that's right.  They won't order me the supplies I need because of MONEY.  I told my insurance and doctors this, and they are absolutely dumbfounded that a pharmacy would treat a patient like this.  Again, these are supplies that I NEED DAILY in order to even make it out my door.  And they want to give me a hard time because they won't make as much money back as they want to.  It's a good thing I don't need oxygen huh?

This ostomy order that I am receiving from them in a few days will be the last time I use them for my supplies.  I will be taking my business elsewhere where they actually care about their customers/patients instead of their bottom line.

Excellent service, knowledgeable, compationate, kind and friendly staff. Everyone seems to always be on the same page and, immediately available to answer any questions or concerns I might have such as medication dosage(s), side effect(s), medication interaction(s), what to do if im ill and/or unavailable to pick up my prescription(s), what SPF is best for every member of our family (infant-senior), which bugspray can be used on which family members and what deet really is(dangerous chemical used in most bugsprays but should avoid being used by kids and seniors), to other over the counter items  such as throat losengers, allergy meds/questions, canes, commodes, walkers, breast pumps and supplies (rented & sold), respitory care & oxygen, to questions about other various home medical care items and supplies. ***Unlike prior experiences at various pharmacies, they have always had my medications in stock. That's what initially made me become a permanent and satisfied customer of Flynn's Pharmacy. ***I consulted with my Physician in regards to my medications frequently being unavailable and how annoying and frustrating it was, due to the constant worry of that I really hadn't comprehended the seriousness of this. As soon I suggested the change in pharmacies, my Physician had suggested Flynn's saying "They are family owned and operated, and have been there for years. Not only are the staff knowledgeable, it has a more personal feel and, there aren't too many hands in the pot."
***The aforementioned questions or concerns that I mentioned the staff had knowledge in are ALL from either questions or concerns consulted with PERSONALLY(myself or immediate family members).

When it comes to the health of anyone in my family, its truly reassuring knowing that In conjuction with my Doctor, Flynn's is there to help us obtain, and maintain the best possible healthy and happy life.

***Even if this is only read once, it felt great to be able to honorably mention and draw attention to a job always well done, in a world where negativity is often addressed and positivity is overlooked!
