Honestly I'm very disappointed with this place. It does not live up to the hype! A few days ago I tried the chicken burrito and it wasn't bad but it really wasn't great. Definitely wouldn't try it again. Today I tried to give them another shot by getting the steak tacos and now I can say I definitely won't be going back! First of all the tacos were tiny!!! I wish I took a picture of them to show how small and uninspiring they were. I'm a huge fan of tacos and I've had MUCH larger and more filling ones for a lower price. There was a generous amount of meat relative to the size of the tortillas but there was barely any onions or cilantro. In addition, I didn't think the steak or the chicken was flavorful. The one thing I really enjoyed was the salsa verde but of course the container they give you is tiny. I was very excited to try this place because it was featured in NJ Monthly but I'm incredibly dissatisfied.

Quality owners. Quality ingredients. Exceptional environment. This small restaurant in West Orange transported me right back home to my native land of Mexico.

I don't know Mr. Duncan Wright, but he got it right on the money. They are a warm friendly family owned restaurant with authentic, homemade and very delicious food. Will be back on a regular basis. Very fond of the up-and-comers in the neighboring community of Montclair, but this is a real gem for West Orange.

Best way to sum up my experience?  I’m saving this business into my favorites on Google Maps…

I ordered the Mula Folklore with carnitas. Overall, these tacos were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor! The flower tortillas were supersoft; the meat was delicious, and the guacamole was absolutely fresh and fabulous. I was lucky enough to visit I’m taco Tuesday for a special!  Highly recommended!!!
