Locally owned and operated.  Many campsites on the river.  Excellent fishing.  Single track biking on the mission creek trail system right across the road.  Next to the chamber grove city park.  Waking distance to the Wabegon Super Club.  Canoes to rent

I read the reviews and thought we'd give it a try... big mistake... yes, there are views here and you don't need reservations, but this is not the kind of camping we were looking for... more like hillbilly camping... additionally, our 33' travel trailer had a very hard time getting out... had to back up... ended up driving in and driving off... didn't stay... but not before a very large dog (not on a leash) would not get off me and the dog's owner didn't really see a problem with it... just kept saying I'm not sure why he's doing that... I had to ask several times for her to call it off of me... I also got the feeling that I wouldn't want to leave my trailer there and go into town to sight see... just didn't feel like a safe situation.

Very nice place. Great staff. Some of the other campers were there seasonally for work and all seemed friendly. Quiet hours were honored. Nice playground park adjacent. Fishing good from shore. Will stay again when in the area.

So beautiful and peaceful. Gorgeous view. The St. Louis River was so calm it mirrored the beautiful sky above. :)

What wonderful owners and workers at this campground.   Our motorhome broke down when we were pulling out of their campgrounds and they were so helpful and accommodating to us.  They had us back our motorhome into a campsite and told us we could keep it there til we got the motorhome fixed.  They gave us a ride to the airport so we could get a rental car. They went above and beyond with their kindness during this stressful time for us.
