We camped there in August 2017. It was ok but I don't think I would go back. The main lady was really nice but the campsites face an apartment building so you don't have the nicest scenery. The porta-potty was gross too! I guess for $25 it's a place to stay but I would prefer not to go back.

Very Understanding, I showed up with a camper that was difficult to fit, the wonderful staff, and campground occupants all helped me get into my spot and even made some provisions to make it easier, I would recommend no where more, drive to Duluth is short but you are slightly off the interstate.

stayed here and was promised bathroom and showers and a nice beach over the phone when reserving. Arrived and there is 1 bathroom for the ENTIRE campground and RV park to share. It was equivalent to using a porta potty and the shower was DISGUSTING. Never cleaned and there was a live bird trapped in there. The campgrounds and rvs are practically on top of each other and you maybe on the shore of a river, but there's no beach to swim in. Did I mention the owner charger $1 per shower and the hard water that came out was awful and that while bathroom was just FILTHY. I understand a public restroom won't be perfect, but this was awful. Will NEVER go back. Take my warning. It's bad.

Meh. My wife and I were sharing a campsite with my brother and his wife. We called ahead to make sure it was alright to put a tent and a camper on the same site, we were told this would be OK with a small additional fee. When we got there, my brother had been in the site for a night already and we got out of the car to chat after driving for 6 hours. The owner stomped over and proceeded to have a meltdown about how we couldn't be on the site without checking in first! Check-in time is stated to be at noon, we went to the office 3 times between noon and 1pm and nobody was in the office! tl;dr owner threw a fit about checking in and then didn't maintain office hours to receive check-ins.

I was highly disappointed with the campground. The spots were very small, there was goose poop everywhere, there weren't any trees like you would think a campground would have. Would not recommend.
