From the moment I walked in the door it was a pleasant experience. I just moved here and came in for a doggy door. The cashier was quick to greet and ask if I needed help. She called for someone to help and I was promptly met by an associate to help me out. Unfortunately I didn't find what I wanted so had to go elsewhere. But every associate that saw my daughter spoke and had a blast that she was laughing so loudly about the pig doggy toys! I will definitely come back to True Value again in the future.

The manager Jeff. This man is a horrible boss and individual person. He’s a liar and does sexual harassment on employees. He doesn’t have good work ethics either. Go in ask a lot of questions he will get frustrated and you will see how immature he is, it’s almost like a two year old. I will never go in the canon City true value again because of this man right here. Freedom of speech and my right to let everyone know the lies he has said about me, badgering my self worth, me as a person and employee. He degrades women all the time and believes men are better then women, all though women can do his job and handle his job better then he can himself. He wanted me to sign a write up stating I flashed my breasts to our uhaul afm and supposedly two customers witnessed it and he did himself, when I tried to say maybe I was fanning my stomach like I always have this whole time I’ve worked here, he says no I straight up watched you pull your shirt all the way up and flash him. I then proceeded to freak out a little bit like me myself I would but I managed to restrain myself from hurting this insecure man and well he then tried to change his story to I was just fanning myself. He was threatened by me because I knew what I was doing better then him and he couldn’t stand it. For the owners to keep such an employee like Jeff is disgraceful and makes me think twice about what kind of people you truly are and the front you put on for everyone, it’s very sad and I see now your not good people like everyone thinks and I used to think that but I see clear now 100%. To all my friends and family of Fremont County I’m letting you all know to not support this canon City true value store. You will get better service from penrose true value or Florence true value. They will take good care of you. I believe everyone deserves to know the truth about these kinds of people.

It's okay when you need something quickly. However, prices are not the cheapest. They do carry Huskavarna equipment, which is of great help. They also rent out U-Haul vans.

They took their time to make sure I understood how use the weed eater I purchased. They even loaded it with gas and ran it to make sure I could go right to running it when I got home. And answered all my questions from fuel ratio to how to disassemble the head for rewinding the spool.
