Story

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Our primary line of shoes are SAS shoes. SAS stands for San Antonio Shoes. They are very high quality, hand-crafted comfort shoes made in America. We carry a complete line of widths and sizes in both men’s and women’s comfort and extra-depth shoes. We also have the largest selection of diabetic shoes in north Alabama.
Foot Care Plus is also a pedorthic clinic and we provide custom and prescription foot orthotics that accommodate or correct medical conditions, defects or injuries to patient’s feet. We have a Footmaxx computer system that we use to scan the feet in motion. The electronic scan records 960 points 30 times a second. The result is a gait and pressure analysis that is used to accurately design and manufacture the foot orthotics. Footmaxx orthotics are thin and easier to fit into patients existing shoe wardrobe. Other benefits orthotics include their ability to easily be adjusted and they are very durable.
We make accommodative orthotics for diabetics, arthritics and those who have deterioration of the fat pads. We also cater to the athlete who needs orthotics to protect their feet and or enhance their athletic ability.
We also recondition and recover old orthotics. We also do shoe buildups for those with leg length discrepancies.
COMPANY HISTORY
The business was founded and opened by Lavone Wolfe in February 2000. Lavone received his Pedorthic training at Oklahoma State University. He has a Master’s degree from The University of Alabama and BS degrees from the University of North Alabama.
