All I have to say is, I was dealing with tremendous amounts of pain in my feet when I walked into this place, and this man's knowledge joined together with his ability to create and modify whatever may be needed to make your feet happy changed my life.
If your serious about finding relief and gaining wisdom about what is going on with your feet, then this is the place to go.
Thank you so much for your passion and dedication towards helping and healing other people.

First visit: Dropped off two pairs of shoes to remove scuffs. Prepaid because the cobbler said too many people were unsatisfied with the work, refused to pay and then left their scuzzy shoes. He also suggested I get the heels evened out so I agreed. Well, after picking up my shoes, I noticed a cut near the instep of my character shoes, a couple of extra places where the leather had scuffed on my boots and the heel of one of my boots had a quarter inch slash going through them so that they are now ever more wobbly to walk on instead of evened out. I asked him to remove the new scuff but he didn't return to the counter for some time as if he expected me to be angry. Then he was surprised that was all I asked for.
Second visit: Although I preferred not to return, it's local. I asked if the cobbler could put a pair of taps on my character shoes same day, and instead of saying yes or no, he immediately shot at me sarcastically, "Why don't you just come in seven tomorrow and really cut it close? I mean, where else would you expect that same kind of service? Would you drop off your car to the mechanic and expect it fixed the same day?" Instead of responding as I wanted to, "You don't know my life story or that I'm a procrastinator and yes, I have had same day service on my car," I simply said, "My dance instructor knows of a cobbler who does repair in an hour so I'll just go there." And I did. I drove half an hour out of my way, paid for metered parking in downtown Providence and got excellent service from a professional who didn't require that I prepay, threw in an extra service and charged me $20 even, no complaints.
I will do the same from now on. Foot Works will get no more than a second chance from me. It has been some of the worst service I've ever had both times I've been there.

I don't care how well he makes orthotics, this man does not belong in the business. Rudest person I have ever met. I almost started crying in the middle of his store. He's one of those awful people that thinks he knows everything under the sun, and discredits any other opinions. When I was telling him what prior doctors had done for me (he could barely even listen), he said they had "no idea what they were talking about." He is a bitter pedorthist that hates doctors like podiatrists. If you want to be treated like garbage, then sure, go to Footworks.

I have been to Footworks twice & both times the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. I would absolutely recommend this business.
