Story

The Forest Park Carousel is a historic, remarkable carousel built in 1903 and is one of two known surviving carousels hand-crafted by world-renowned artist, Daniel Muller. Since restoring the carousel to its original glory and the implementation of two additional kid-friendly rides (The Woodhaven Express and Frog Hopper) and games, The Forest Park Carousel has received overwhelming positive reviews from the surrounding community as one of the hidden jewels of Queens, nestled within 544 acres of Forest Park. In 2013, The Forest Park Carousel became a Designated Landmark of New York City, making it the only carousel to have ever received the honor.

Open in the summer to children 👶👧👦. Parents can supervise. Safe and clean but historically old carousel.

Very nice historic and local Sunday or kids birthday party entertainment. Carousel build and open in 1904 still in a great shape

The park is a good park. I take my daughter to the carousel and it's a place for families. I attended a children's birthday party and it was nice. The children was running around and playing. The disappointment came when I saw other patrons drinking open containers of alcohol, smoking weed and walking their dogs on the grounds without cleaning up after their dogs. The dogs was walking and running where the children was playing. The park need to have a more restricted policy on these issues.
