Excellent dirt trails for running, biking, dog walking and just a nice stroll to enjoy the greenery in Forest Hills. It’s a scenic park to get away and take in the fresh air and enjoy what nature has to offer close to home. While I frequent the park for the dirt trails, they also have a track and a blacktop if dirt trails are too gritty for your taste. For runners, the black top from Metropolitan to Woodhaven is about 1.5 Miles while the dirt trails loop inside can be worked out to 3.5 miles. As always, be careful and cautious in the night as the park is known to have some weird characters at night.

I absolutely love this park. It is very kid friendly and has lot of slides and swings for the kids. At times I think it could be a little cleaner. It usually gets pretty packed on the weekends when the weather is beautiful! Also at the back of the park there is a water area that has a sprinkler type device for those excessively hot days.

It is a very nice place to visit quite extensive as far as green foliage walking paths and friendly people. At night it is a complete different thing the local teenagers to early twenties hang out in droves even with their motorcycles as you see in the photograph provided. That usually friendly and are not a bunch of troublemakers . Of course you may find a stray Undesirable every now and again so always keep your guard up.I have been going there for over 45 years and would ride my my cycle all the way from greenpoint Brooklyn to enjoy the park. Very nice.

One of my favorite parks in Queens. Large enough to spend all day in and still not see it all. A bunch of outdoor activities for everybody including a dog run, baseball fields, golf courses and a skatepark. Good for both road and trail running. Great place to keep the whole family busy all year round!

Great park! Dog friendly, kid friendly, well kept and peaceful. Lots to do, play tennis, sit on the lawn, listen to concerts or just enjoy the beauty of the park. There is also a picnic area. Great park!
