While the lady was very nice and check in and reservations were easy this is not a place I'd visit again. You have to pay to use the showers, the bathrooms were available but small and ancient. It looks like the owners are working on updating the office but the whole place is just run down and kind of gloomy.

This is an older park that has seen better days but considering that it gets 12 foot of rain every year it might be expected to be rough around the edges. The laundry and showers are in acceptable condition and clean. Based upon the Website and brochures we made reservations for several days and submitted a credit card to hold them. In part the website and brochure state: Our sites can easily accommodate large RV's and Motor Coaches. In addition we have 18 large pull thrus. Each site offers: * All new 50/30/20 amp electric service. * Full Hook-Up Sites. * Free Wireless Internet Service. * Fresh tasting city water. * Picnic Tables. rates include: Water, Electric, Sewer, Trash & WIFI. * No Refunds after check-in When we arrived, and went into the office the smell of tobacco smoke was overwhelming. The manager’s living quarters are attached to the office/lobby and separated by a cloth curtain. The lady manager (Joyce?) was very pleasant and helped us get the best rates. While checking in I noted a sign on the door stating that there was no cable TV in the park and that WIFI was not available in all the sites. We were scheduled to go to site number 50. Unfortunately, it seems that WIFI did not reach that site. I asked for a site with WIFI and was told that site #6 had WIFI, 50-amp service, water and sewer. We agreed to take that site instead of #50, and finished checking in. However, when I parked and plugged into the electrical service my coach Surge Guard refused to allow the connection. I went to the office and told the lady that there was a problem with the electrical. She said that her husband had just checked the electrical a few days before and told her everything was correct, but that she would send him to recheck the pedestal. About 45 minutes later the man (Lewellen?) came with his electrical meter. He told me that he had to work on the electrical service a few days earlier because someone had run into it and damaged the box. When he tested the receptacle, he said that one of the wires must be in the wrong place. When he took it apart he said one of the wires was not connected. Then he told me that he didn’t like the way the receptacle looked and would need to replace it and it would take about twenty minutes. When he returned later and began replacing the receptacle he told me that not all sites had 50-amp service. After replacing the receptacle my coach Surge Guard still refused to allow the connection. The man became very abrupt, telling me there was nothing wrong with the service and implying that the Surge Guard was malfunctioning. He told me that my option was to move to another site and that was the extent of his negotiation. I strung my power cable to site #4 and plugged into the power without the Surge Guard refusing to allow the connection. I’m not an electrician but I do trust my $500 Surge Guard over the abilities of some unknown. I have seen the results of an improperly wired power pedestal and the thousands of dollars damage that can occur. I told the lady manger that we would move to site #4. Later I deduced that the man was in a hurry to return to his chain saw carvings. Bottom line, we can’t recommend this park.
