Growing up in Parkersburg, I didn't know about Fort Borerman. Now that I live away,  I really enjoy having such a nice, historical place to go to get together with friends and family, and the view is beautiful. I am so glad that the city has decided to  put this place on the map for all of us to enjoy.

Very pretty area with a great view of Parkersburg. Lots of history on this hill.

Fine place for a small walk around and some local history. There is an excellent view of the area including downtown Parkersburg and the confluence of the Ohio and Little Kanawha rivers (the view is probably the best reason to go here). There are some hiking trails but nothing too intense or very long. There are also several historical descriptions of the area and fort around the hill.
