Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, canoes, disc golf, picnics, playgrounds, dog park, horse trails, archeology, geology, a few rooms to rent, cabins, archery range. Top notch mountain biking trails. You can't be a mountain biker and pass this park by without visiting. It is unthinkable. I prefer to run the trails myself. I have never been to the Family Campground which is on the north side of Route 50. I would not recommend camping on the south side near the lake because their is little privacy and amenities. It should be noted that the once active shooting range is closed/dormant at this time. Free to enter and enjoy, thank you West Virginia!

A really well-maintained park with a little something for everyone. There's a decent sized dog park for your 4-legged friends, decent waterfront for fishing and kayaking, and various trails. There's also some interesting history and local wildlife all outlined on plaques throughout the trails.

Trails are decent, fishing sucks, has the potential to be good but all the anti smoking stuff is BS. It's WV, we're rednecks! We like our tobacco products. Make the place worth coming to before you try to start banning stuff.

Very spacey, well kept. Also has a nice playground. Dogs loved their own play area at the dog park, too!
